Messianic fellowship is a community of people, born into different cultures and faiths, united as believers in Yeshua the Messiah. He was sent by the one true G-d to reconcile people to Himself. We choose the Hebrew words for the familiar names of Jesus (Yeshua) and Christ (Messiah) in acknowledgement of the Hebrew roots of our faith as detailed in the TaNaKh (the Torah, Prophets and Writings, together commonly referred to as the Old Testament) and the New Testament.
We choose to study history and obey commandments as given by G-d in the Bible, beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. This includes observing the Hebrew calendar, the feasts enumerated in Scripture and instructions concerning life style.
We give glory to G-d that our salvation is accomplished through Yeshua's completed work on the tree. We thank Him for the indwelling of His Holy Spirit which empowers us to do His will. We know from Scripture that G-d promised to write His teaching and instruction on our hearts. It is the intent of our hearts to be obedient to the teachings of Scripture.
If you are interested in exploring the Hebrew roots of the faith practiced by the followers of Yeshua the Messiah, please join us on Wednesday or Friday evenings.
